Crossfit, Barre, Plyo, iso, p90, riptide rush, it seems like every week there’s a new fitness fad. Since it’s just too much to try them all, Ali Spagnola and I decided to team up and create a new exercise show, Fitness Misfits. Now you don’t have to sneak in unprepared to every crazy class… we’ll do it for you! We’ll try the new classes, show you the exercises and workout styles and awkwardly try these cool new workouts. Think Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, but for fitness.
This episode we tried to Complete Burn: a high intensity interval training class that’s efficient, fun, and makes you sweat a LOT. Their tagline is “Real fitness for real people,” and the goal is to burn calories long after the workout ends. Our class: 35 minute interval training made up of burpees, Bulgarian split lunges, squat to press and ball jacks.
